DPTS is a fully featured access system for use with disabled persons toilets and designed for DDA compliance. Operated by two JWS Touch sensors with ultra-brite LEDs it controls entry by opening and locking the door at the appropriate times interfacing with both an automatic door operator and a locking device ( maglock etc.)
How it works: Step 1 - Entry: Touch the entry sensor. The door opener will activate to provide access, or enter manually.
Step 2 - Lock: When inside the toilet, touch the internal sensor to lock the door. To confirm the door is locked, the red indicator on both sensors will flash showing the toilet is engaged and inhibiting the entry sensor.
Step 3 - Exit: Touch the internal sensor once more and the indicator stops flashing. The door will be unlocked and the door opener activated. The entry sensor stops flashing and becomes operable once again to provide access.
